Storesperson - Warehouse

Our client, based at Inverurie, is looking for an experienced warehouse storeperson to join their busy manufacturing stores operation. Key tasks of the role and essential to have are, a working knowledge and experience of Picking/Packing, Goods in, ERP system.

Benefits:

6 months, temp to perm role.

Shift pattern/hours: Mon - Thu 07:00hrs -15:30hrs; Fri 07:00hrs-14:00hrs. Friday 30 mins lunch. 15 min afternoon break. If no afternoon breaks are taken, finish time on a Friday is 13:00hrs.

Pay Rate: 12:50 hr

Job Description:

Receving/uploading of materials to/from the site.

Detail orientated to ensue materials and services are receipted correctly onto the computerised stock system.

Accurate and timely picking of projects as per the needs of the business.

Pick and pack goods ready for onwards shipping.

Previous working knowledge of an ERP system, cycle counts and document control.

Duties and responsibilities:

Loading/unloading lorries and vans.

Ensure timely receipt of purchased materials and services into the computerised stock system.

Checking material certification against the purchase orders and relevant standards.

Being responsible for the accruate picking of projects, issuing the materials both physically and electronically.

Participating in daily cycle counting, reporting and stock discrepancies to Stores Cell Leader.

Participate in all appropriate stocktaking.

Assist with the picking and packing of materials for onward shipment.

Preparing delivery paperwork.

General administration and housekeeping duties.

Any other duties as required due to business needs.

Essential Criteria:

• Educated: A level or equivalent.
• Experience: Working knowledge and experience in a similar position, manufacturing desired.
• Skills/Knowledge: Computer literacy including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Sage
• ERP knowledge
• Forklift B1 Counter Balance & Bendi licence beneficial but not essential.
