Job description

We are looking for a Distribution Assistant to work alongside our Strategic Account Directors to support them in the management of our key brokers across the Travelers European platform including our Lloyds Syndicate, Commercial Retail and Financial Lines businesses.
You'll ideally have experience communicating with brokers in the London market, perhaps as an Underwriting Assistant or similar. You'll work closely with the Directors to provide support in planning and engaging with our Strategic Brokers across our various businesses and segments. You'll be well organised and be able to use data to prepare information packs, attend broker meetings and take and follow up on action points.
Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.

  • Support the Strategic Account Directors in creating robust broker business plans across our key Strategic Brokers and help monitor and drive performance against these plans
  • Support in the creation and maintainance of engagement models and structure to facilitate collaboration and trading engagement across our businesses and segments
  • Work with Broker data to understand performance, share of wallet ranking and rating across our Strategic Brokers
  • Support in the creation of Quarterly Broker Review decks and performance management data
  • Understand and utilise the Broker Platforms to obtain Pipeline listings and reporting
  • Build strong relationships with the Strategic Broker Market Management teams
  • Build knowledge of our business, underwriting strategy and develop relationship with key stakeholders.
