We know walking is a great way for so many people to be active and we’re looking for someone to join us who can lead on our walking work in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire (Notts) and influence a culture of walking in our least active communities.
In this role you’ll be partnering with organisations from all over the city and the county to develop a shared approach that allows more people to walk in a way that works for them, particularly people that are more likely to experience inequalities.
The Strategic Lead – Walk Notts will have a positive impact by:
- Contributing to more positive, safe and inclusive experiences for people to walk
- Working strategically in partnership with internal and external colleagues to develop a shared approach to walking across Notts
- Supporting and representing communities including those under-represented in walking
