We're looking for a Strategic People Partner to join our dynamic People Services team, where your work will directly contribute to creating an environment where every employee can grow, contribute, and thrive. This role reports directly to the Director of People.
The last 12-18 months have been focussing on our People Strategy and creating a brand-new People Service with a new Director of People and an updated people service operating model. This has led to investment in the team and part of this investment is to increase our strategic business partnering capability and capacity. Our new model builds a team around the customer and this role will be one of three Strategic People Partners, each leading dedicated teams aligned to specific business areas. This role will lead a team of people professional to support two of our customers - the Resources Directorate and Growth, Environment, Transport and Health (GETH) Directorate.
This is a wide and varied role; no two days will be the same and you will need to be comfortable with flitting between strategic projects and large-scale change to managing complex employee relations cases or supporting policy development. You will be the type of person who enjoys seeing your team develop, progress and your natural coaching style will help us to continue to build a high performing team.
To succeed in this role, we will need you to demonstrate your ability to:

- Bridge strategy and execution: Be the vital link between strategic intent and operational excellence within specific customer groups.

You will be:
- A leader with a minimum of MCIPD qualification (or equivalent) and a track record of strategic HR success.
- An expert in employee relations, change management, and fostering high-performance cultures.
- Someone with a passion for leveraging data to drive decision-making and improve performance.
