We are expanding our companion animal marketing team to support our Therapeutic portfolio of products within the veterinary market. The Strategic Product Manager will be responsible for creating the strategic positioning and marketing plan for our Animal Health Therapeutic portfolio. They will lead the development of the vet and pet owner toolkit, in close collaboration with our wider marketing team and pet owner SPC team. We want our customers to see the value we can add at every touchpoint and feel inspired and supported by our portfolio propositions.

Qualifications/skills:

  • BA/BS in marketing or advertising
  • Master’s in marketing or Digital Marketing (preferred)
  • Hands on experience of brand management (preferred)
  • Inspiring presentation delivery skillset
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and operational skills
  • Management of multiple projects at once
  • Develop processes, set timelines, and keeping teams accountable

Key Functions of the role:

Marketing Strategy

  • In charge of understanding market dynamics and customer insights
  • Localise global commercial strategies and translate them into Country Brand Strategy localisation (Priorities & key initiatives)
  • Build and lead local tactical and commercial cross-functional execution plan

Asset Activation

  • Develop and execute the vet and pet owner toolkit, adding brand value at every touchpoint
  • Build Customer Omnichannel Engagement plan, in collaboration with Campaign Manager, including digital engagement, identification of personas, messages/content, channel mixDrive test-and-learn across all portfolio plans and leverage marketing analytics to provide insights and make recommendations based on results
  • Developing and delivering a marketing plan to launch exciting new products (including product pricing, positioning, and promotion)
  • Design and implement scientific customer events and manage the sponsoring of external events
  • Motivating, engaging, and inspiring sales colleagues to support the delivery of the portfolio marketing plans

Stock & Budget Leadership

  • Detailed stock management including forecasting and stock availability management
  • Collaboration across business units to execute the forecasted stock plan
  • Responsible for the management of allocated resources and product budgets
