This global FMCG firm are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join their Direct Procurement team. This firm are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their dynamic team of likeminded, driven individuals. With experience within Direct Procurement, as a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will play a vital role developing and implementing sourcing strategies for their direct materials, adhering to procurement regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with stakeholders and clients to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality materials while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
• Drive innovative improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency
• Identify, evaluate and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance, in terms of quality, cost, delivery and innovation

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on direct materials, sourcing within a highly regulated industry
• Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations, cost saving initiatives, and supplier relationship management
• A degree in a relevant field. CIPs or MCIPs is preferred but not required.
