Street Cleansing Operative

What will you be doing:

• Driving to various sites to keep the areas up to a professional standard.
• Cleaning of public toilets.
• Emptying litter/dog bins, sweeping of areas, picking up of street litter.
• Jet wash / foam wash of weeded areas.
• Ensure footpaths and other hard surfaces are in a clean condition.
• Providing a service to the public.

Other bits you need to know:
The role requires candidates to hold a full driving licence as you will be driving to various sites across the North Devon area. The above is not a full list of duties undertaken but gives an indication of the varied roles available across the department. An induction/training at site will need to be attended before being put into a shift. You will need to be physically fit, punctual and reliable as you will be working as part of a team.

Salary:
From £11.44 per hour.

Hours:
6.00am to 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Flexible to be able to cover 2.00pm – 6.00pm shift.
Weekends worked on a rota basis.
