Northampton - hybrid role, approximately 50% site based and 50% office based,

Brief

Street Lighting Patroller/Analyst needed for a well-known construction organisation based in Northampton but very much on a hybrid bases with 50% of your time based at home. My client is looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Street Lighting Patroller/Analyst that takes pride in their work.

Role purpose - To undertake daytime inspection of Lighting asset for non-electrical defects and to remotely diagnose electrical faults where assets are connected to our central management system (CMS).

The successful candidate must be geared towards checking street furniture faults. The candidate will need to be tech savvy, as well as analytical. and have a keen interest in becoming a Street Lighting Patroller/Analyst.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Street Lighting Patroller/Analyst will include:

• Undertake inspections of the asset to identify defects
• Raise faults using a tablet or laptop
• Assess site risk and implement controls
• Remotely assess the functionality of assets
• Record defects in the Management Information System
• Report safety & quality observations
• Responsible for company Property, Equipment and Vehicles.

• Excellent attention to detail & self-motivated
• Able to demonstrate technical knowledge and analytical skills
• Must be comfortable working within a team as well as working alone
• A good level of written and numerical skills
• A demonstrable ability to learn new processes quickly
• IT skills Excel, Word ability to use a Tablet / Apps
• Full clean UK Driving License
