Street Scene Operative

Matching Staff Solutions are working alongside our established client to find a Street Scene Operative located in Bristol. This role is on a contract starting in March until June 2024. Your role will be to keep the city and local environment clean, tidy and adequately maintained.

Monday to Friday - 07:30am - 15:30pm.

The Role

Your main duties will include:

• Grounds maintenance and vegetation management tasks such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, shrub bed maintenance using pedestrian and hand held equipment.
• Graffiti removal using chemicals or powered equipment.
• Removing litter, emptying litter bins and removing weed growth.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of Health and Safety in an operational environment.
• Physical skills required to use machinery for several hours a day.
• Ability to solve straight forward problems.
• Communication skills required to exchange information with both staff and members of the public.
• Full UK driving license
