Streetworks and Accreditations Assistant

The role of the Streetworks and Accreditations Assistant is to support both the Streetworks Coordinator and Audit and Control Manager to ensure all requirements of their roles are completed in an efficient and timely manner.

This role attracts a salary of £27,000 - £29,000, with a possibility to work from home 1 day per week.

You will be responsible for supporting with and undertaking applications to local authorities to ensure that all offsite excavation works within the public highway are undertaken with all necessary permits in place, and that the support provided by third party partners such as traffic management suppliers and civils contractors is undertaken as per the requirements of the permit. You will also be undertaking the administrative part of the applications during the active works period to ensure that permits are opened and closed on time, and that works are completed in line with any permit conditions in order to negate the risk of any fines due to non-compliance.

The accreditations part of the role will entail supporting the Audit and Control Manager to ensure that all paperwork and documentation utilised within Rock Power Connections is fully version controlled, up to date, and fit for purpose. This can be as simple as standard forms used by various parts of the business, through to ensuring various policies and procedures are reviewed annually and updated by document owners as required. A key part of the role will be preparing for annual audits by third parties to ensure successful re-certification of various business critical accreditations.

In addition the role may entail some general support to the wider office team as required by individuals or the business. Responsibilities can vary depending upon the priorities and demands of the business.

The role requires a high level of organisation skills, attention to detail, and accurate record keeping. The role will also involve liaising with clients, external stakeholders, and suppliers as required.
