Streetworks Defect Manager

We are currently working in partnership with a leading national multi-utility company. The role will involve working as a key part of the streetwork management team.

Key Essentials:

* This role will be ultimately responsible for overseeing a team involved in analysing, challenging and accepting Fixed Penalty Notices (FPN’s) and defect inspection charges following the completion of utility works in the highway

* Responsible for investigating the liability of claims made by various local authorities using NRSWA legislation to dispute charges

* Meeting local authority representatives and contractors whilst investigating dispute charges

* Dealing with outstanding invoices and payments

* Helping defuse negative situations with passed back invoices

* Regularly liaising with local authorities, helping to build strong relationships

* Coordinating with L.A's regards the validity of queries and payment requests

* Processing invoices through the in-house system

Requirements:

* It is essential that you have previous experience as a Streetworks Analyst in a fast-paced utility environment

* Excellent knowledge of streetwork permitting systems, NRSWA legislation and the TMA

* It is essential that you have excellent I.T skills in Microsoft Office packages
