The role The successful applicant will gain practical applied experience in an elite sports environment under the guidance of practitioners and coaches. During the Student Placement, there is an opportunity to build a portfolio of practical expertise, enhancing your employability within the Strength and Conditioning field. Support the Strength and Conditioning team with the programming, performance planning and delivery of training sessions to either Surrey Strom Netball team, Surrey Scorchers Basketball team or Team Surrey's Performance Teams. Work closely with a wider multidisciplinary team. Gain practical coaching experience under the guidance of experienced coaches. Develop skills such as programming and performance planning, delivery of training sessions and athlete monitoring. Exposure to a range of sports disciplines and abilities. Support qualifications and accreditations such as the UKSCA. Portfolio of CPD workshops and practical expertise. Development of soft skills. About you Surrey Sports Park is looking for a candidate who is eager to learn. Full commitment to the role will mean that you will get the most out of the placement. As with any sports role, some of the experience will take place during early mornings, late evenings and weekends to align with sports training schedules. The ability to communicate well, share knowledge, ask questions, critically think have strong attention to detail. Experience in delivering or assisting in the delivery of S&C sessions.
