Job description

About the vacancy: This is an exciting new role for 12 months as a stroke education administrator working directly with a senior lecturer. The role will require you to liaise with our local clinical partners in the NHS and health care organizations, ensuring the smooth delivery of a multi-professional stroke education course.   You will be supporting the roll out of 2 day and 3-day multiprotection stroke courses being held in various locations across the locality. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in autonomous working and yet still be part of a great team. You will join the BNSSG Stroke Health Integration Team Education and Workforce group and will have plenty of opportunity for networking and problem solving. About you: We are looking for someone who has excellent verbal and written communications skills. You will need to be organised, creative and enjoy finding solutions to issues that may arise. You will need to be resourceful and have a can-do attitude. You will enjoy meeting different health care professionals from various hospital and community Trusts across the Southwest.  You will be required to liaise with people affected by stroke and disability. If you are looking for a different work experience combining event organisation, administrative skills, meeting new people and occasionally working in a different environment then we want to hear from you. When the three-day course is running you will be expected to work those three days but your working hours will be adjusted the following week or allow for the additional hours, therefore a flexible approach to working is required. This role might suit someone looking to temporarily increase their hours or those looking for a part-time opportunity. This post is based at our Glenside.
