Due to continued project wins, we are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to come join one of our clients based in the central belt. With a solid pipeline of work this would best suit someone who is looking for longevity and progression. Our client works on some of the most prestigious projects throughout the UK. As a Structural Engineer you will have extensive experience in structural design and surveys. This opportunity would ideally suit someone who has a passion for Structural Engineering and working with new technologies to push the technical and operational side of the team forward. Our client will ensure you are a key point of contact within their growing team.
The key responsibilities include:
- Inspection of buildings and structures and prepare the relevant reports.
- Prepare technical support for a rang of stakeholders.
- Continue to develop new ideas to help shape our clients business.
- Prepare specifications for remedial works.
- Authoring, development, assessment, maintenance and management of design changes/concessions
- Provide robust technical justification to allow for modifications to be authorised on projects.
- Apply appropriate theoretical and practical methods to design, develop, manufacture, construct, commission, operate, maintain, decommission and re-cycle engineering.
The requirements include:
- Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years experience within a similar role
- MICE or MIStructE (preferred)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Excellent understanding of building structures
- Proficiency is IT systems such as AutoCAD
- Clean UK Driving Licence
