Our client is a well-established multi-disciplinary firm, and are seeking a Structural Engineer to join their office in Derby
Are you a Structural Engineer who has a particular interest in Historic buildings, sustainable re-use and structural surveys of existing buildings? My Client have a national reputation for our Conservation work, and have provided Structural and Civil design for some of the UK's best historic buildings.
You will be an accomplished technical Structural Engineer with 3-8 years of rounded experience, enjoy being out on site, writing clear reports and supporting the re-use and repair of existing buildings. Time will be split across all sectors, both new build, alterations and repairs.
The Structural Engineer needs to be:
- Familiar with design software including Autocad, Revit and Tekla Tedds.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
- Analytical thinking with an eye for detail
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written English communication skills.
- Committed to producing high quality work.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
