Structural Monitoring Engineer
Salary: Basic from £40,000, Benefits such as Pension, Bonus, Overtim
Location: Bristol

A excellent opportunity has become available for a Structural Monitoring Engineer to join a market leader in the Bristol area. The Structural Monitoring Engineer will be responsible for working alongside the Project Manager in the successful delivery of multiple projects as well as oversee and support technicians in delivering smaller projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered in a safe manner, to schedule and in accordance with customer requirements as defined in the contract. This is a fantastic position and opportunity to join a business where further career development and training is endless and working on a variety of projects which will mean no 2 days will be the same.

Skills required for a Structural Monitoring Engineer:

• Must have a Degree or Level 4 qualification within Engineering within a relevant subject such as Geology.
• Experience in installing Structural Monitoring systems (wired or wireless) and sensors.
• A strong engineering background within either mechanical, electrical or civils.
• Ability to prepare and work under RAMS, SSOW, Permits of Work and other site documentation.
• Data Analysis: Ability to review sensor data and report on sensor/system status.
• Be flexible and available to travel to site in UK and overseas from time to time, in support of project activities.
• Excellent communication skills
• Must live in commutable distance to the Bristol Office as will work from there when not working on-site.
