An international Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Manchester City Centre are on the lookout for a Structural Project Engineer to join their latest office location to work across a host of wide-ranging project sectors such as Healthcare, Educational and Residential and be part of a burgeoning team of outgoing Engineers.
Founded in South England in 2006, the company have grown to 6 offices, including a location in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, where the company work on both UK and Spanish projects.
The Manchester office is around 1 year old now and the company are looking to grow this office into a strong, dynamic and sociable team of Engineers with a focus on networking and becoming a strong presence in the North West Engineering community.
This is a good opportunity for a Structural Project Engineer with consultancy experience (4-8 years) right up to Senior level who's looking to develop and progress as an Engineer working alongside the Directors and other Engineers engaging in all aspects of projects from inception to completion.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A current Structural Engineer job title
- At least 4+ years' experience (flexible) in a similar role in a consultancy environment
- A degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Someone with Chartership or aspirations for Chartership with either the ICE or IStructE
- A clean UK drivers' license for site and client visits
Locality is key in this role and relocations will most likely not be considered. There is room for the right candidate to join the team immediately.
Salary will vary depending on experience. A candidate with a degree plus 4 years' experience can expect a package of around £34,000 - £40,000. Other levels of experience and suitability will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
