Location: Aberdeen
Duration: Permanent
Salary: 25k-40k Depending on experience
Duties:
We are seeking a skilled Structural Technician with proficiency in Revit to join our team. As a Structural Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our structural engineering projects by creating detailed drawings and models using Revit software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural drafting and design, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects and collaborate with a talented team of engineers and architects.

Responsibilities:

Create detailed structural drawings and models using Revit software.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop structural design solutions.
Ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications and standards.
Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Coordinate with other team members to integrate structural design with other disciplines.
Assist in the preparation of construction documents and technical reports.
Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Stay updated with the latest developments in Revit software and other relevant tools and technologies.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Structural Technician or similar role.
Proficiency in Revit software is required.
Strong understanding of structural drafting and design principles.
Excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
Experience with other CAD software such as AutoCAD is a plus.
Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
