Our client, a prestigious London University, is currently seeking a temporary, full time (35 hours per week) Student Immigration Compliance & Advice Officer, running for 5 months in the first instance. The role offers a hybrid working model, with 1 day per week based on-site in Central London and the rest remote.
Key Responsibilities for this role include:
- Using the UKVI Sponsor Management System to accurately update and maintain Student Immigration details and submitting relevant queries.
- Reporting on current Student Immigration documentation, liaising with students and staff to ensure current and accurate data management and integrity.
- Assisting with Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies processes and registration sessions regarding Student Immigration.
- Supporting the Deputy Student Immigration& Advice Manager with monitoring requirements, liaising with students who have not met requirements and provide administrative support in workshops to help them meet requirements.
- Providing advice to students to OISC Level 2 competencies, including regarding visa applications. To be considered for this position, you should possess:

- Previous experience in a similar role working within alumni engagement, in a higher education setting, or volunteering coordination within a similar setting.
- Familiarity with Higher Education student visa requirements.
- Strong relationship-building skills, and confidence engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong customer service, administration, and organisational skills.
