About the role

We are looking for an Admissions Manager (International) to join our Student Administration Team to lead and manage admissions operations from initial application onwards for all EU and International applications. To be responsible for the development and implementation of effective processes and procedures relating to admissions for international students. Responsible for effective use of Management Information reports to make data driven decisions on admissions workloads and processes. To manage, mentor and develop a team of Student Administration Officers. To lead and manage development projects within Student Administration and the wider Student Journey remit.

This role sits in the Student Administration Team, a key part of our Student Journey Service. The team works across University admissions, student records and compliance and takes a lead at clearing and enrolment, also contributes to open days and student events. As a team, we are committed to responsiveness and excellence in customer service, inclusiveness, and collaboration, and we take ownership of our actions.

What you can bring 

We are looking for a person who has extensive experience in a Higher Education setting and has proven managerial and supervisory experience, with an ability to lead staff and successfully deliver effective processes and services.

The role demands strong attention to detail; the ability to build and maintain effective relationships and work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues as we continue to develop and grow all aspects of Student Administration Team.

The successful candidate will have excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise and work under pressure. The nature of the post requires individuals with excellent interpersonal skills who can work successfully with all levels of staff and other stakeholders.
