Job Title: Student Mentor and Welfare Advisor
Location: Cambridge (Milton)
Hours: 30 per week (Monday to Thursday), 38 weeks per year (term-time only)
Salary: £18,101 - £19,014
Due to continued investment and increasing student numbers we are recruiting for an additional Student mentor and Welfare Advisor to join our team at our Cambridge campus. Safeguarding and student welfare is really at the heart of all that we do, and this is a key role to strengthen our provision. As well as providing one to one support to our learners across both further and higher education programmes the successful candidate will also act as a designated safeguarding officer.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience in a similar or related role, and have a good working knowledge of safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing issues with young people. You will benefit from working with a supportive and hard-working team, and have access to great CPD opportunities to ensure that your knowledge and skills are kept up to date.
We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving student services team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
