Job Title: Student Records Manager

Location: Norwich

Salary: £37,099 to £44,263 per annum

Job type: Full time - Permanent

About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-looking specialist arts University which has ambitious plans. We are seeking to recruit a proactive Student Records Manager to join our busy and dynamic Registry Services team to support and maintain the University's Student Record System.

The postholder will manage the delivery of a range of services through the Student Records system, ensuring that services meet the needs of students, academic and professional services staff, and internal and external stakeholders. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security and quality of the student data, and that this data meets the statutory reporting requirements.

With an expert understanding of applicant and student related data, and knowledge of the wider higher education context, the postholder will lead on data quality and associated student record policy and procedures. Using these skills, you will identify and onboard key stakeholders and work to overcome obstacles, to ensure that that University strategic objectives are achieved.

The postholder will be required to manage a high performing team, in a busy environment, whilst continuing to maintain high levels of service delivery. You will have excellent all-round communication skills and the ability to deliver high-quality customer service to support all users of student focused IT systems, including applicants, students and staff.

You will be responsible for producing detailed and accurate reports on student data to stakeholders to aid decision-making and performance, requiring the successful candidate to be self-motivated with experience of analysing and evaluating complex datasets.

The postholder will work collaboratively with the Registry Services team to make a significant contribution to the assessment of system requirements and implement changes to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of reports for statutory returns including Data Futures, Aggregate Offshore Return, and HESES.
