Location: The Grimsby Institute, with travel across other sites required

We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join the Grimsby Institute in the role of Student Recruitment Officer. If you are a team player who is passionate about helping learners reach their full potential, then we want to hear from you!
About the role
The Student Recruitment Officers are essential to the recruitment of potential students wanting to access a college education. You will promote engagement in Student Recruitment events, school liaison activities in partnership with schools, and other external organisations.
Other duties include:
To assist in the development and delivery of the TEC Partnerships strategy for Student Recruitment.
To promote the activities of TEC Partnership, its subsidiaries or specified partner organisations.
Coordinate, organise, and deliver a programme of internal and external events and activities in targeted schools and colleges, within the community to engage pupils and parents, and in line with the student engagement marketing strategy.
Attend school and college careers events, open evenings, and other engagement and transition activities.
Assist with the running of Student Recruitment open evenings/days held at our sites.
About the person
The successful candidate will have excellent all-round communication skills, with a keen interest within the education sector. You will be confident interacting and engaging with potential students of all ages. Assist and understand everyone's personal TEC journey, as well as championing the individual to pursue their career aims and aspirations in partnership with the TEC.
Candidates should also have:
Level 2/GCSE Maths and English.
Information Advice and Guidance qualification or willingness to work towards.
Experience of working independently, flexibly and as part of a small team.
Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritise own workload.
A full UK Driving Licence.
Use of own vehicle and willingness to travel across different sites.
