Student Reintegration and Inclusion Worker

We are currently looking for a Student Reintegration and Inclusion Worker for a role in Camden. The Student Reintegration and Inclusion Worker will play a important role in raising the level of attainment within the borough or Camden.
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop a positive, supportive and healthy relationship with Camden Children In Need (CIN) who have attendance issues or barriers to education.
- To work in a multiagency network (with CAMHS, education providers, social services, SEN and other services) to support and reintegrate young people to remain or get back into education.
- To support young people in areas of difficulty that are impacting school, to help address these difficulties in order for them to reach their full potential.
- To be responsible for monitoring attainment and attendance plans for individual young people. As well as, supporting social care, parents and schools in delivery of these plans.
- To build positive relationships with schools in order to support and train them in best practices around social, emotional and behavioural barriers to learning.
- To secure and raise levels of pupil engagement with education through effective support, challenge and intervention of schools/colleges and co-professionals, at schools across England and Wales.
