Hours of Work:37 hrs, Term time, plus one week (08:00 to 16:30 Monday -Thursday, 08:00 to 15:30 Friday)
Location of Role:The Henry Beaufort School, Winchester
The successful candidate will provide support for students to be in school and to assess their needs when reporting that they are unwell or have had an accident. They will be responsible for sending first day absence texts to parents every morning and will work closely with the Pastoral Support Team to liaise with parents and carers and the school nursing team to offer guidance and support for children with long term health conditions as well as supporting colleagues to enable students to have a fully inclusive timetable, including extracurricular activities.
This person will liaise with the school nursing team to organise immunisations including Flu, HPV and boosters to ensure effective communication with all stakeholders and management of appointments on site.
Previous school experience and specialist qualifications are not essential, as it is more important for the successful candidate
to show empathy, resilience, initiative, dedication to our students, and a good sense of humour. Training and guidance will be provided.
