Main Duties
Working with me on my adaptive clothing brand, Intotum, on a hybrid basis, can be very flexible with hours depending on your other commitments. Main roles would include research and development for our next collection, assistance with sampling and fabric sourcing, joining me at events/ conventions and on research trips. As an adaptive clothing brand, we create comfortable clothing for the disabled community and are endeavouring to expand our clothing range into new avenues like childrenswear. Any experience in adaptive design, functional/ modular design, childrenswear or pattern cutting is great but not a requirement. Based in hackney wick, you will be working closely with creative director Hanan. Every day is different and usually involves a mix of research, meetings, discussions with manufacturers, design and content creation for our socials.
Intotum is an adaptive clothing brad creating functional, comfortable and fashionable clothing for the disabled community. A small team of creative director and founder Hanan and our head of childrenswear design, Quinn. Ideally someone studying on a fashion design/ fashion marketing course, interested in inclusive design. Would benefit from fabric/ pattern knowledge for design based tasks. Eager to learn a new design practice, confident and happy to work independently on set tasks. Keen to work on design development whilst assisting with general tasks. Knowledge of social media and content creation a bonus- we are actively growing and promoting our work, especially the design process as we are working to engage potential customers.
