Job description

South Staffordshire college have a new and exciting role which will see the launch of a new, yet to be named studio. This role will allow an enthusiastic person with an entrepreneurial mindset to grow the brand and importantly engage with business in the West Midlands and Staffordshire areas to expand their digital presence and develop digital skills.
Candidates should be innovative, and solution focused. A wide range of Digital and Computing skills and knowledge will be advantageous to candidates. The Studio Lead will contact and meet with a range of small, medium and large businesses to seek out opportunities to produce digital products, to assess any bespoke training needs, in some cases deliver bespoke training and maintain a positive relationship with connections.
Candidates will project manage and deliver digital products to the client with the assistance of the learners of South Staffordshire College and maintain good communication with staff in South Staffordshire College.
Candidates will need to be flexible in their approach to a range of challenges which the role will face. It would be beneficial if candidates have experience working on small to medium projects of this nature.
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic person to help play a vital role in building digital skills, to ensure no one is digitally disadvantaged and help build the local economy.
The successful applicant will have a degree in Digital / IT Computing or relevant industry experience to support the role to it's potential.
