Our client has been designing and manufacturing quality ceramic resin figurines and sculptures for over 30 years, including our popular and expanding range of home interior sculptures.
Designed and sculpted by the owner at his studios in Telford, Shropshire. Each sculpture is originally sculpted from clay and then moulded and hand-cast from moulds using a special blend of ceramic dolomite.
The finishing touch is the skilful application of hand painting and finishing.
We are currently looking for reliable, hard-working and hands-on Production Sculpture Painters to work with a small well-knit team in our busy painting studio. Being a quick learner and the ability to take instruction and listen to advice are key.
As a Production Sculpture Painter, your main role will be in the hand-painting of our Sculpture range. A good eye for detail and experience in painting figurines or sculptures is ideal but not necessary as full training will be given.
The main duties and skills required:
Full-time, permanent.
Hours
37.5 / week
Mon to Thu 08:00 - 16:30
Fri 08:00 – 13:30
Overtime might be available during seasonal busy periods.
Pay Rate
Starting: £10.42 / hour
20 DAYS in total (plus 8 PAID STATUTORY DAYS).
5 DAYS are to be taken during the Christmas shutdown: Mon 23rd Dec to and including Wed 1st Jan.
10 DAYS are to be taken during the two Summer Shut Downs:
Mon 1st Jul to and including Fri 5th Jul.
Mon 29th Jul to and including Fri 2nd Aug.
The remaining 5 DAYS can be taken at your discretion and in agreement with Management.

- A Grade in GCSE in Art
