SF Recruitment it currently recruiting for a very well established business based in Sutton in Ashfield, they are looking for a Subcontract and Logistics Coordinator
This is a brilliant role for someone who is at the start of their career within Procurement and Supply Chain and is looking at progressing, you will need to have a minimum of one year working within a purchasing administrator/assistant/Supply Chain Coordinator Role. This is an office based role with a salary up to £30,000 depending upon experience.
This is a fast-paced active role and suitable candidates will need to move pallets/boxes around the Warehouse and will need to learn to drive a Forklift
Main duties:
• Track and analyse production schedule in order to provide forecast to subcontract supply chain.
• Placing orders and liaising with suppliers; maintaining a great relationship
• Working closely with the warehouse to ensure they have everything they need to fulfil orders.
• Move parts between Supply Chain and the company
• Managing and updating the portal.
• Arrangement of Sub-Con packaging.
• Knowledge of MRP system.
• Expediting lead time negotiation with suppliers
• Organising and planning routes for external and internal transport resources
• Working closely with the procurement/production/planning and project teams to minimise lead times
• Liaising with courier companies.
Suitable candidates will be used to working in a fast-paced environment liaising with suppliers. You will need excellent communication skills and be able to work on multiple projects working to deadlines. This is a great opportunity to work for a 'family feel' business who can offer progression. You will need to have experience using an MRP system and be comfortable using Excel.
