Suicide Prevention Project Worker – LGBTQ+ Community
Hours: 
Part time, 18 hours per week
Salary: £12,447.84 per annum (£25,933 p.a. FTE), Salary scale point 15
Contract: 12 months fixed term contract
Based: Cambridge, Peterborough, Ely & Home Hybrid working.

We are seeking a highly organised Suicide Prevention Campaigns Lead to deliver the Suicide Prevention campaign work.

About the Project 
STOP Suicide is an award-winning Suicide Prevention campaign that seeks to empower communities and individuals across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to help stop suicides by being alert to the warning signs, asking directly about suicide and helping those who are feeling suicidal to stay safe.

The project will expand CPSL Mind’s STOP Suicide campaign using targeted approaches to Suicide Prevention within three high-risk communities: LGBTQ+, Neurodivergent and Migrant communities - building knowledge and skills within specialist partner organisations and the wider community.

The post holder will build strong, collaborative relationships with the LGBTQ+ partner organisation to build Suicide Prevention skills, knowledge, and capacity, to support the development of an organisational approach to Suicide Prevention and safety planning.

The post holder will work collaboratively within CPSL Mind, with our partner organisations and across the community to co-produce, promote and deliver focused campaigns activity and bespoke Suicide Prevention workshops.
