Job Title:Summer Course Coordinator

Pay: £575 per week

Dates: Between 23rd June - 10th August 2024

Duration: Up to 6 weeks

Hours: Monday to Sunday 50 on a shift pattern, 1 day off per week.

Location: You'll work in a prestigious educational location in Cambridge and participate in a social and cultural programme. Meals will be provided when on duty. The role could include day trips across the UK and local activities in the Cambridge area. Transport for trips will be organised, you do not need to be able to drive.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Responsible for maintaining an atmosphere of enthusiasm, curiosity and fun on the course.
• Be the front line in ensuring the safety, welfare, enjoyment and discipline of the students.
• Support the delivery of the social and cultural programme, leading activities, day trips and restaurant visits.
• Support the general smooth running of the courses, including making sure students are on time and in the right place for their academic sessions.
• Support the gathering of marketing material such as student testimonials, photographs and videos.

Minimum requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Professional, diligent and organised
• Able to work to a prepared budget.
• General competency in IT skills
• A DBS check (this cost will be covered)

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Teamwork
• Ability to motivate young people.
• Good knowledge of chosen work location
• A 'can do' attitude

Experience you may have:

• Working at a summer school or holiday camp
• Leading a student organisation
• Volunteering with the Scouts/Brownies or similar organisations
