Superintendent Radiographer
We are looking for an exceptional Leader to join our Imaging Management Team in our new CDC Unit.
Can you use your experience, skills and talent to work collaboratively with the team to ensure patients are provided with a safe and caring experience while attending the Clinical Diagnostics Centre?

Full-time: 37.5 hours over 5 days a week. Monday to Friday. Some on call weekend rota cover required.

Summary:
As the Superintendent Radiographer you will be responsible for supporting staff, clinical leadership and deputising in the absence of the service Manager. You will operate in accordance with local guidelines and company policies to deliver a service that is aligned to contractual and governance requirements. Your working week will consist of a mix of clinical supervisory shifts and supporting the Service Manager with the day to day running of the CDC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the Leadership team to proactively support the service Manager and deputise as required.
- Production and implementation of all Protocols related to general radiographic practice.
- Organisation of the day to day running of the service including rotas and staffing requirements.
- Using you Clinical Experience assist in managing staff in the scanners.
- Take responsibly for the training and development of radiographers within your remit.
- Take part in QA, patient safety audits and incident management.
- Ensure the buildings are safe and meet all Infection prevention guidelines as set out by the Service and in line with CQC requirements.
Qualifications, Attributes and Skills:
- Essential: A BSc in Diagnostic Radiography.
- Desireable: Post Grad training MRI/CT
- Essential: A valid professional membership (HCPC registration)
- Desirable: Experienced in leading teams with the ability to coach and talent for training delivery.
- Essential: Good understanding of CQC fundamental standards.
- Essential: Well developed processing, organisational and time management skills.
- Essential : Able to demonstrate experience in leading and motivating staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
