We are working with an Organisation who seek a Supervising Social Worker.

They are a small, private family-owned foster care service that is expanding and based in Canterbury. Their team place a premium on family support, collaborative teamwork and service excellence. Requirements of Supervising Social Worker

• You will need with relevant experience to join their 'Ofsted Good' service. (2 years experience minimum)
• Be a Qualified Social worker with at least two years of experience who have completed their ASYE looking to advance your career in Foster Care,
• SWE Registration
• Must have a Degree in Social Work BA/MA - or Equivalent
• Commitment - Our children and families will rely on you, to assist them in flourish and reach their utmost potential.
• Enthusiastic and committed,an individual who enjoys working with and supporting foster families.
• You will have an in-depth awareness of the difficulties foster parents face in assisting the children in their care to accomplish positive outcomes that enhance their future prospects.
• You will have a genuine interest in making a difference in the life of a child, be a team member, and do everything possible to assist foster parents in providing excellent care for children.
• You will have a social work degree and registration with Social Work England,
• You must have a full driver's licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities of a Supervising Social Worker

• As the Supervising Social Worker, it is your duty to provide foster parents with support, guidance, and management based on your expert knowledge and experience.
• This will ensure the safety and development of the children in their care and to whom we are responsible.
• You will support our out of hours rota.
• You will be responsible for providing foster parents with support and supervision and upholding compliance standards. In accordance with the Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011 and the Fostering Services National Minimum Standards
• You will cultivate productive working relationships with the local authorities responsible for the children and young people in placement.
