Supplier Planner

Your experience of New Product Introduction and working in MRP Planning will help you to join a focused, driven and dynamic Industrial Policy, Global Supply Chain & Procurement (ISP) business team developing Supplier Planning.

About the job:
 
Our client currently requires a Supplier Planner to build close relationships with Manufacturing Operations. You'll have specific supplier/category, opportunities to drive improved delivery and inventory performance. The business is fully behind this important initiative and so it is a flawless time to deliver some significant change and improvements.
About you:
As a Supplier Planner you will have;

• Previous experience of working in a New Product environment
• Experience working in an MRP Planning background
• Experienced at working with a large ERP system, ideally SAP
• Results oriented with strong cultural awareness, excellent team working capabilities and able to drive key decisions through the supply base
• Experience of working with suppliers and scheduled orders/PO`s
• Ideally with experience of both working with suppliers as well as within a manufacturing environment with an ability to negotiate to meet deadlines
• Collaborator management
• Ability to have a full picture view and work cross functionally
• Continuous improvements mind-set
• Problem solving skills
• Experience of working with/ Implementation of Air Supply would be a distinct advantage
• CPIM or prepared to work towards it
