Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Evaluation: Utilise your expertise to evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality capabilities, processes, and standards.
• Performance Monitoring: Conduct audits and performance reviews to monitor Supplier Quality and performance.
• Collaborative Quality Planning: Engage with suppliers to develop quality plans and inspection requirements.
• Problem Solving: Investigate non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and utilise the 8D methodology for effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance overall product quality.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to Supplier Quality.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2-5 Years of Experience: Perfect for a professional looking to build and develop their career in Supplier Quality Engineering.
• Quality Management Knowledge: Some knowledge and experience in Quality Management principles and tools (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 8D, Root Cause Analysis etc.).
• Supplier Management Experience: Previous experience in supplier management, audits, and evaluation is advantageous.
• Understanding of Manufacturing Processes: An appreciation of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication and strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
