Overview:
Element has an opportunity for an Supply and Logistics Supervisor in our Cambridge office. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing warehousing and stock management system and
providing administrative support to the service and sales functions.

We also provide end-to-end technical and application support for the life of our instruments to ensure our customers achieve their research objectives. Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently manage stock levels to meet customer demands and prevent stock-outs
  • Conduct regular stock take to maintain accurate inventory levels and identify discrepancies
  • Enforce safety measures in the warehouse to create a secure and compliant work environment
  • Implement and manage goods in/goods out procedures to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Verify all incoming deliveries against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Ensure fulfilment of customer order requirements, managing order processing from inception to delivery
  • Process customer orders with precision and timeliness
  • Place supplier orders, coordinating closely with vendors to secure timely deliveries
  • Generate and communicate customer quotations in a clear and professional manner

Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience of working in a fast paced logistics environment
  • Knowledge of how to implement health and safety regulations
  • Good knowledge of warehouse management system, Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP and basic accounting skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • A good level of general education or work place qualifications
