Form of workFocused Recruitment are currently working in partnership with our client who are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their manufacturing site based within the Treforest area (Treforest Industrial Estate). This role is with an immediate start and covering long term sickness. Hours of work: Monday - Friday 08:30am - 16:30 pm with 1 hour lunch break. Duties / responsibilities of the role: - Vendor Invoice management reconciliation of issues raised by account payables department in SAP. Chasing people to GR PO line items
- Querying mismatches of invoices to values on PO's and making necessary adjustments.
- Getting people to raise PO's when services have been rendered in advance of purchase orders being raised
- Weekly Ossien PO in SAP.PO to allow Ossien shipments from VI to TRF
- General conversion of requisitions to PO's, sending to suppliers (SAP)
- Following up with suppliers on late delivery dates etc.
- Generations and distribution of EXPD report (from SAP) & chasing people to GR overdue PO lines or moving delivery dates based on feedback. Desired attributes: - Experienced in the use of SAP or Oracle system or anything similar / transferrable.
- Prior experience within a similar role.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Computer literacy.
- Strong organisational skill and ability to prioritise.
