Supply Chain Analyst - Data Analyst - Fylde
£40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience
We are proud to represent an iconic manufacturer, with a rich history in Lancashire, seeking to recruit aSupply Chain Data Analyst, playing a crucial role in optimising the business’ Supply Chain processes by using data driven insights for improvement.
The Data Analyst will work as part of the Supply Chain team and will analyse and interpret large sets of Supply Chain data to identify trends, patterns and thus opportunities for continuous improvement. Monitoring KPIs and providing regular reports and dashboards to communicate these metrics to a range of key stakeholders, then working closely with operations teams to implement process improvements.
The Data Analyst will also support the monthly S&OP cycle by providing accurate information on sales data and stock levels and work closely with planning to validate monthly forecasts whilst flagging any constraints.
Skills required
- Previous experience in data analysis and interpretation, preferably in a manufacturing Supply Chain or logistics environment
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL and data visualisation tools such as Qlik or Tableau.
- A strong analytical mindset and excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional departments and external stakeholders
- Highly numerate
- Adaptable and flexible, able to prioritise a wide range of tasks
- A keen eye for detail
