This is an exciting new opportunity for a Supply Chain / Buyer Planner to join a company based in Haddenham on a full-time basis, working 35 hours a week (raising to 37.5 hours after the first quarter) with a 1pm finish every Friday. Who wouldn't love an early finish on a Friday?

This is a fully office-based role with free parking.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Placing orders for components and raising relevant purchase orders, ensuring the correct supplier is selected for each order to meet budget and forecasted production requirements
• Working with internal departments on order fulfilment, customer delivery, and stock levels
• Creating and sending forecasts to suppliers and resolving stock order queries
• Communicating with suppliers daily regarding status updates and resolving problems
• Liaising with global procurement teams to coordinate with Far East suppliers
• Sending quotations to suppliers and confirming on prices
• Providing data and reports for inventory management, stock levels and Supply Chain KPIs

To be successful for this position, you must have proven experience of working within Supply Chain, Buying or Order Fulfilment. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to order stock and components across a range of commodities with multiple suppliers.
