We are on the hunt for a ‘Supply Chain Compliance Coordinator’ to join the sweet life of HARIBO! This is a tang-fastic opportunity to join the family where you will be reporting directly into our Materials and Master Data Manager.
This is your opportunity to join the mix in a role which encompasses ensuring that all Supply Chain transactions, relating to processes that have legislative guidelines, are completed in a compliant way whilst also ensuring that records are maintained for audit purposes.
You will also have the opportunity to manufacture sweet relationships with other departments including, but not limited to, Supply Chain stakeholders, customs agents, waste compliance businesses, operations teams as well as suppliers.
How you’ll contribute to the mix:
- Using MSS data to complete regular auditable checks of customs transactions to ensure that all transactions have been completed as per the SOPs. This includes; freight costs, potential origin statements, invoice values, preference codes and tariff codes
- Ensuring that records of checks are kept for future audits
- Using MSS data and liaising with customs agents to pick up any specific queries relating to those transactions
- Ensuring master data contains all the information required to complete EPR and plastic tax submissions
- Completing regular checks of live finished goods, merchandise, raw material and packaging SKUs to ensure that master data reflects the most up to date picture of packing being used
- Liaising with waste compliance suppliers to ensure all data is up to date
- Liaising with engineering and other members of operations to ensure that any goods that have been imported against our name have the associated packaging data
- Attending relevant forums and meetings to keep up to date on procedures relating to customs and waste and packaging legislation
- Providing cover, as and when required, for the materials team

Being able to demonstrate top notch IT skills as well as excellent numerical ability is essential to sugary success, whilst also naturally being able to build quality relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
