Supply Chain Coordinator

Newmarket

Providor Ltd is a subsidiary of Sureserve Group and installs domestic smart meters across the UK, working directly for a number of energy suppliers. Meter asset managing services are also provided for some clients.

The Role:

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will oversee daily Supply Chain metrics, ensuring consistent performance tracking and providing focus recommendations. Key responsibilities include invoice validation, inventory and demand forecasting, and maintaining optimal stock levels using data-driven decisions.

You will build strong relationships with internal teams and external logistics suppliers to drive continuous improvement. Supporting the Supply Chain Manager, you will engage in high-level projects impacting cost, unit economics, vendor management, and growth plans. Your analytical skills and ability to present data to stakeholders will provide key insights for strategic efficiencies.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Supply Chain Manager in reducing costs and ensuring invoice accuracy.
  • Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
  • Use analytical tools for root cause analysis and process improvement.
  • Create reports with findings, trends, and optimization recommendations.
  • Implement process improvements with the Supply Chain team.
  • Maintain records of invoicing communications and resolutions.
  • Manage demand forecasting with the Supply Chain Manager and stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with key suppliers and partners.
  • Organising deliveries into Bybox, liaising with Bybox to organise a delivery slot, ensuring that the ASN files are created and communicated prior to delivery.
  • Organise deliveries and monitor failed deliveries, reporting issues as needed.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for engineers.
  • Support the wider department with any duties.

The Individual:

- Strong, proven analytical skills.

- Strong data management skills experience with SQL or Qlik advantageous.

- Advanced Excel skills.

- Ability to take ownership and drive significant pieces of analytical work.

- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced changing work environment and able to work under pressure.

- High organisational skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work to deadlines.

- Adaptable and flexible approach to work with a genuine willingness to learn.

- Proficient computer skills with strong administrative skills.

-Grade C or above in GCSE English Language and Mathematics or equivalent qualification.
