Role Title: Supply Chain - Environment, Social and Governance Manager (ESG)

Location: Derby, Warrington or Manchester (Hybrid)

We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Supply Chian – ESG Manager, to be involved in developing a global Supply Chain and creating opportunities for the wider industry.

Role Purpose

  • The role of ESG Manager is to consider all aspects of Environment, Social and Governance across our global Supply Chain. This includes ensuring our business compliance with legislation and industry best practice with supporting metrics to report on our status and progress.
  • The development and deployment of an ESG strategy integrated and approved by our business internally supported by a plan to engage and deploy into the Supply Chain.

Key Selection Criteria

ESG Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement the organization's ESG strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and industry best practices.

Data Collection and Analysis

  • Collect, analyse, and report on ESG data and metrics, including environmental impact, social responsibility, and corporate governance.

Sustainability Initiatives

  • Drive sustainability initiatives within the organisation, such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, and social impact programs

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with ESG regulations and standards, such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD, and prepare accurate ESG reports for disclosure

ESG Integration

  • Integrate ESG considerations into investment decision-making processes and corporate governance

Training & Qualification requirements

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as sustainability, environmental science, finance, or business.
  • Strong understanding of ESG principles, frameworks, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting tools and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • Familiarity with ESG regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to manage ESG projects and initiatives effectively.
  • Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive Social and environmental change.
  • Collaborative and able to work with cross-functional teams within the organization.
  • Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving ESG trends and best practices

Pay and Benefits

We anticipate a paying salary of between £52,000 - £67,000 a performance related bonus of up to 12.5%, an attractive pension scheme with 12% employer and 6% employee contributions. You will also receive a flexible benefits allowance of £2,200, enabling you to create a bespoke package to suit your needs.

Each Rolls-Royce SMR power station will have the capacity to generate 470MW of low carbon energy, equivalent to more than 150 onshore wind turbines and enough to power a million homes. Our Application Process
