Working within the Product Life Cycle Team, collaborating across a variety of functional partners, to manage the launch of new products and maintain a portfolio across Mundipharma data and systems. The role covers all aspects of managing the Product life cycle, from Launch, on going management through to Discontinuation and exit. The Lifecycle function provides Mundipharma with a clear view of Product Portfolio status, delivering well managed and on-time product launches, while supporting the organisation objectives on Portfolio simplification and optimization.
Role and responsibilities
- Responsible for managing and coordinating all required Supply Chain activities to ensure the on-time delivery of new product launches, accurate data and compliance across the live portfolio, and exit management of discontinuation programs
- This requires the ability to engage, liaise, and build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels including Internal and External partners, Commercial Supply Chain teams, and wider Mundipharma organization.
- Responsible for ensuring co-ordination across various functions working to ensure delivery of product with Supply Chain, quality, regulatory, serialization, project management and finance.
- Work collaboratively with Customers, Suppliers, Supply Chain teams (e.g., MLG, Bard artwork team) and internal functions (e.g., Quality, Commercial, Finance, Regulatory) understanding the market requirements and financial targets for New Product registrations, introductions, and changes to existing system set-ups.
- Experienced in operating with Supply Chain Operation Planning, Finance, Technical, Architecture and other internal functions to agree, align and maintain all set-up activities required for the supply of New Products, including set-up communication with product suppliers.
- Influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve the optimal results for Mundipharma through effective negotiation, conflict resolution and partnership.
- Deliver effective communication at all levels including direct team, 3rd party manufacturers and Senior stakeholder through the Sales and Operational Planning cycle.
- Ensure compliance with statutory duties, regulation and legislation. Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, Health and Safety, legal, Code of Business Ethics, environmental policies and general duty of care.
- Revise and maintain up to date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Manage other agreed Supply Chain project activities, e.g. samples management, portfolio optimization, Supply Chain continuous improvement projects.
- Knowledge and proven experience in Global Supply Chains.
- Planning and ERP Oracle/SAP experience.
- Demonstrated examples of continuous Improvement Change Management.
- Ability to work within high-performing teams in highly collaborative environments.
- Building relationships with key internal and external customers based on trust and confidence.
- Data gathering, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.
- Translating business goals and metrics into business process outcomes and related business cases for specific projects.
- Mathematical/statistical abilities
- Supply Chain Qualification is desirable
- Working experience in the pharmaceuticals or medical devices industry is desirable.
