About The Role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead a team of Supply Chain Specialists to deliver outstanding availability for our customers across all Group channels, having the right stock in the right place at the right time. You'll be managing stock, waste and markdown within budget to increase sales and profit in line with Business Team objectives.

You will play a senior leadership role within the Business Team, partnering with the Category Director to drive improvement across the category whilst being accountable for minimising costs for your categories by working through the end to end Supply Chain to identify and deliver efficiency opportunities.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • You'll take personal ownership of performance management of the team, tackling underperformance in a structured way and highlighting strong performance to celebrate success and share best practice both within and outside of your own category
  • You'll work closely with other teams to spot and develop talent through the team and coach for improved performance.
  • To produce well-structured and well-presented plans to senior stakeholders that are then tracked to ensure progress is made at the right pace and improvements / activities are delivered to plan.
  • To develop strategic improvement plans for the category such as range / case size optimisation, lead time optimisation, waste & markdown improvement, end to end productivity / cost to serve
  • Leading the Business Team to identify opportunities at the shelf edge to make products easy to shop and easy to sell
  • Identify waste reduction opportunities and wasted effort in the end to end Supply Chain and deliver improvement in those areas through the wider team.
This is a hybrid role operating over a 4.5 day working week. This role is based at our fantastic head office in Bradford. Boasting an on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, prayer room, free parking and regular company-wide events and promotions. Ideally, applicants will live within a reasonable distance of our office.
