The role is to support with various aspects of Supply Chain operations, particularly centered on demand planning, production planning, and material management, alongside assistance in customer service and logistics. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring efficient material supply for production, maintaining accurate stock levels, managing supplier relationships, and driving systematic improvements within the Supply Chain process.

Description
- Ensure effective and efficient supply of raw materials to meet requirements of our production plan.
- Responsible for liaising with suppliers and organising movements of stock to and from production sites.
- Confirm that raw material stock is in the correct location at the correct time so as not to impact or delay production.
- Responsible for maintaining weekly production plan and ensuring a rolling 3 weekly plan is available for operational efficiency reviews.
- Tracking production outputs & daily orders to ensure accurate stock levels, where needed liaising with Supply Chain colleagues and other key stakeholders to ensure optimal product availability and production efficiency.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a sub assembly plan in line with assembly forecast and requirements.
- Manage any redundant or slow-moving lines, working with the appropriate stakeholders to communicate and deliver a plan.
- Administer accurate and updated forecast information to suppliers to allow them to plan stocks.
- Produce, analyse and interpret daily, weekly and periodic KPI information.
- Maintain exception reporting across all planning & purchasing activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
- Create and manage supplier SLAs to monitor performance and flag any potential problem suppliers.
- Ensure the integrity of finished-goods stock levels across multiple locations.
- Provide support as required to all area of the Supply Chain operation, to enable development of a fully cross trained and flexible team.
- Help drive systematic improvements to all Supply Chain processes and systems.
Profile
- SAGE and CIM 50 experience beneficial.
- Good numeracy and analytical skills are essential.
- Excellent customer focus.
- Experience of Supply Chain roles in manufacturing would be desirable.
- A strong working knowledge of Excel is essential.
- Proactive approach to any issues that occur during day-to-day operations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal capabilities supported by robust organisational skills.
- Attention to detail whilst understanding the 'big picture'.
- Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment and achieve strict deadlines.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a changing environment.
