Position: Forecast and Demand Planner
Responsibilities:
- Generate accurate forecasts and engage proactively with customers to understand their evolving needs.
- Collaborate closely with the Customer Services team to align production plans with the order book, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Strategically plan for demand and capacity, ensuring adequate resources are available to meet customer requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing processes and systems to streamline information flow and increase operational efficiency.
- Take ownership of setting and managing optimal stock levels to minimize excess inventory while meeting demand fluctuations.
- Efficiently order materials, maintaining an optimal balance between inventory levels and production requirements.

Experience and Education:
- Experience in demand and capacity planning, forecasting, customer liaison, and process improvement.
- A qualification in Supply Chain management, business administration, logistics, or related fields preferred.
- Equivalent work experience considered in lieu of formal education.
Characteristics:
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis software.
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving aptitude, and adaptability.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain management principles.
