Supply Chain Planner / Inventory Planner 12mth FTC

This is a 12-month fixed term contract initially, but there is potential to extend significantly, or transfer onto a permanent contract (contact me for more information on this). Hybrid working available. Your new roleYou will support their retail and e-commerce channels, assessing existing stock levels across a range of skus, to ensure availability is optimised while keeping downward pressure on inventory. You will support the team by flagging where stock is low, or selling through at a higher rate than supply, and collaborate with buyers to confirm orders. You will also monitor inbound stock, tracking what is arriving, and flagging any delays. What you'll need to succeedYou will already have experience in a similar position, planning inventory availability, either as a Supply Chain or Demand Planner, Merchandiser or similar (eg Buyer). You will have good Excel skills, and be comfortable making decisions based on data. You will use data to support your decisions, and be comfortable communicating in a fast moving and commercially focussed environment. What you'll get in returnCompetitive salary GBP27-33k, generous pension and other benefits. Typically 37 hours per week. Hybrid working (the role holder will need to be in Poole at least once a week).
