SalaryI am looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join a team on a temporary 6-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing every stage of the production flow, from purchasing the raw materials to the delivery of the final product. Ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness throughout our Supply Chain is a key aspect of this role.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Monitor and manage the Supply Chain processes, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Analyse and optimise logistics and Supply Chain strategies to minimise costs and maximise efficiency.
- Implement and maintain inventory control measures to ensure the company can meet its current and future demands.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and oversee the ordering of materials and supplies from vendors.
- Evaluate and report on KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to implement best practices in Supply Chain management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Supply Chain management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes and logistics.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Supply Chain management software and databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Relevant degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration is preferred.
