Supply CoverTeaching Assistant in Milton Keynes
Pay: £12.50-£16.00 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Work offered at multiple locations across Milton Keynes
Flexible, Part-time or Full-time hours, daily, short-term or long-term contracts
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to teachers and students in the absence of regular support staff.
- Assist with classroom activities, including preparing materials and resources for lessons.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide additional academic support as needed.
- Help maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to meet the individual needs of students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Flexible availability to cover assignments on short notice.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications or certifications in education or child development is a plus but not essential.
