Nirvana Brands is a distributor of latent brands of leading international fragrance companies. Currently, we work with the following brands: GUY LAROCHE, PALOMA PICASSO, GLORIA VANDERBILT, MAROUSSIA, DANIEL HECHTER, EAU JEUNE, ROLLING STONES, SARAH JESSICA PARKER, ANTONIO BANDERAS AND SHAKIRA.
This role is based in Watford, with 4 days in the office, and 1 day working from home.
JOB PURPOSE
As part of the Operations team, reporting to the Head of Operations you'll have the responsibility of implementing production planning activities for intermediates and finished goods, ensuring that efficient production plans are created, maintaining agreed stock levels. You will be actively involved in sourcing decisions for product and components.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create a production plan that is executable and follows productivity and service targets, ensuring that Supply Chain, inventory and obsolescence metrics meet company targets.
- Analyse production requirements and production capacity to ensure customer response times and product availability are met.
- Track and review customer orders for production through to delivery.
- Build relationships with strategic partners and teams such as Customer service, 3rd party manufacturer, Quality, and logistics including warehousing and transport.
- Resolve or escalate supply issues by working with team members. Manage exceptions.
- Share best practices and ideas with your team; involve teams to achieve the most efficient ways of working.
- Help develop training programs, manuals, and methods of implementation to assure stable and best-practice execution of end-to-end planning.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
- 2-3 years’ experience in supply planning role. Knowledge of Production Planning, Inventory Management, Capacity Analysis, Demand, Supply, and Supply Chain best practices.
- SAP or equivalent ERP Expertise
- Experience in the Beauty industry is a plus, as is;
- Knowledge of or experience in product and packaging development
- 6 sigma / lean Yellow or Green Belt preferred.
- Knowledge of or experience in Procurement practices.
